Not at all. Most of our guests haven't touched a modern board game before their first visit. Tell us what you like — films, puzzles, bluffing, cooperating — and we'll pick something you'll enjoy and teach you the basics in a few minutes.

Yes — that's the whole point. Our staff know the library, recommend games for your group and explain the rules at your table. You can also ask for a quick rules refresher mid-game any time.

Walk-ins are welcome whenever a table is free. Evenings and weekends fill up fast, so booking is recommended — especially for groups of 5+ or if you want one of the big game tables.

Message us on Instagram and we'll tell you the current wait — or hold your spot for the next free table. The library browsing and a drink at the bar are always fair game meanwhile.

Of course. Your copy is welcome at the table — and if a rule is unclear, we probably know the game and can help.

Reservations are available from 1 to 4 hours. If you want to keep playing, extensions are possible when the table is still available.

Yes — and you won't play alone unless you want to. If you're looking for a group, our social nights are built exactly for that: tell the bar you're here to meet people and we'll match you with a table. Many regulars first walked in solo.

Families are welcome, especially during daytime hours — we have a shelf of family games that work from age 6 up.

Yes — team buildings, birthdays, club meetups and full-venue takeovers. We tailor the game selection to your group, teach everything and handle food and drinks. Get in touch and we'll plan it together.

If we stock games for sale, they'll be the ones our staff love and can personally recommend — never a random wall of boxes. Ask us what's on the shelf.
